MARINE SUPERINTENDENT Our client operates in over 40 states providing top-quality civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, telecommunications, thermal, and fabrication services in Industrial Construction. FLSA Classification Exempt: Salary Salary Range Starting at 104k annual Essential functions Supervise the maritime construction effort to guarantee that the project is built according to design, budget, and schedule in compliance with the Company and our clients' aims and standards. Organize, coordinate, and manage on-site activities. This covers project safety, scheduling, engineering, and material control, as well as day-to-day supervision of onsite administrative and technical employees. As specified in the contract, supervise craft employees and/or other contractors. All project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, field design modification requests, and other transactions may be authorized and/or approved by this individual. As needed, offer technical support, including recommendations for building methods and equipment. Ascertain that all onsite staff follows project processes, safety program standards, and work regulations, among other things. All breaches should be documented, and project management should be notified. Corrective actions should be recommended and implemented as needed. Depending on the situation, interacting with customer representatives and other contractors. Daily, communicate production objectives and quality requirements of work with project management, address difficulties that have arisen (around people, means and techniques, material or equipment use, etc. additional or out of scope work), and brainstorm solutions to assist the team to accomplish project goals. Required education and experience Extensive knowledge of heavy marine/pile driving construction projects. Minimum of eight years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of marine construction (technology, equipment, and methods), craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, cost control schedules, and safety required. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems.
