Summary: The Benefits Wholesale Client Advocate will provide our Wholesale Broker Clients urgent and efficient supportive data, confirmations, and up to date carrier information that will assist broker's group clients and their members with all service inquires. Along with claims information and support the Client Advocate will also support the broker with billing inquiries and service questions pertaining to invoicing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between insurance providers and clients regarding employee status and eligibility for coverageResolve standard claim issues and provide assistance with complex or non-standard claim appealsVerify completion and validity of claim formsReview company records to determine coverageCalculate amounts of claims and submit for paymentEnsure all client data is entered into CRM System (SalesForce) in a timely manner.Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Knowledge of Medical, Dental, Vision Plans and Flexible Spending Accounts required.Experience with Insurance Carrier self-service portals and call centers a plus.Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environmentVigorous attention to detail, highly-organized with the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.Education and/or Experience: Four Year college or university degree or equivalent experience1-3 years of benefit administration or claims processing requiredCertificates, Licenses, Registration:Life, Accident and Health License preferredWho We AreWe're NFP, a four-time Best Places to Work award winner in Business Insurance for 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
