Background United Safety Technology is starting a manufacturing facility to make nitrile patient exam gloves. We have secured an existing facility that will require some remediation and renovation as well as installation of manufacturing equipment and utilities. Plans, designs, and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.2. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.3. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings4. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition5. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs6. Provide UST interface and oversight to external contractors performing renovation work at the Cold Mill facilityCleaning ServicesLandscape Service7. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.Work with general contractors for facility improvementsWork with general contractors for equipment installation8. Interface with the landlord, Tradepoint Atlantic (TPA) on permits, sewer and water services, shared common area services and expenses, and any issues arising during facility or site improvements.9. Interface with utility providers including BG&E, Baltimore County department of public works, internet providers, alarm system providers, etc.10. Interface with Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation regarding Boiler installation and operation.11. Recruit, hire, and supervise Boiler Operators12. Experience in cGMP such as pharmaceutical, medical device, or food industry is desired. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility construction management3. Ability to read and understand structural and civil engineering drawings, electrical and control schematics, and piping & instrumentation diagrams4. Software SkillsMicrosoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.AutoCAD or equivalentSAP Maintenance or equivalentMS project or equivalent5.
