Social Media Marketing Specialist Linganore Winecellars, Maryland's destination winery, is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist who is as passionate about wine and marketing wine as we are! Linganore Winecellars is a family-owned vineyard and winery located on 230 acres in Mount Airy, Maryland. We are seeking an organized, self-motivated individual who possesses knowledge and experience with the following core competencies:Social Media Strategies and Tools, such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and ClickupKnowledge of paid Social and Google ad campaigns.Clear and concise grammar and spelling proficienciesPhotography and Videography editingAdobe SuiteWebsite editing and buildingThis individual will report to the Marketing Director and will focus on providing social media and other marketing support for the winery year-round. Weekend/evening work and local travel will be required (typically one weekend a month and evening work on Thursdays, Fridays, and special events as needed). There is an opportunity to work from home part time.Position Description Promote winery events, off-site events, festivals, and farmers market via digital format on social media and the winery's website.Create promotional material (print & digital) on all social media sites.Plan and oversee all paid digital campaigns (Facebook & Google ads)Measure, test and report on social strategies and campaigns using analytics toolsProduce and edit videos and photography for online promotional purposes.Promote and encourage customer engagement, to increase followers on our social media channels.Attend events to interact with attendees and maximize full opportunities to promote our brand.Demonstrate knowledge of the company history, mission and vision.Develop positive customer relations and online reputation management sensitivities.Keep informed of the competitions' activities and events.Analyze on an on-going basis, opportunities and threats on social media.Maintain materials to fulfill job requirements, ie, vehicle, notebooks or tablet, smartphone and computer, cameras, etc.Assist with festivals events, as directed by the Marketing and Event CoordinatorPosition Requirements Two plus years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination.Excellent Skills in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with photography, videography and editing.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.Knowledge of HTML/Website administration preferred.Wine & beer knowledge a plus.Self-directed and motivated.Must be able to be articulate and communicate in a clear, concise manner.Ability to be tactful, diplomatic, and courteous even in stressful situations.Ability to communicate (orally and written) in a professional manner, online and when dealing with co-workers, customers, vendors, and volunteers.Ability to balance multiple priorities and details simultaneously with maturity and self-confidence.Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.Ability to lift and carry cases of wine up to 40 lbs., both in the building of displays, delivery of product and event set up.Salary Information: $18 to $20 / hour, commensurate with experience. Mileage reimbursement and phone stipend included.
