The Help Desk Support Specialist provides level 1 technical support to users in an effective and accurate manner. You will solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas.Duties & Responsibilities Act as the first level support for organizational personal computer problems, and identify root causes, resolve, and monitor all technology support requests in a timely, effective, and professional mannerProperly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of supportTrack, route and redirect problems to correct resourcesPreserve and grow your knowledge of service desk procedures, products and servicesThe ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and manage multiple projectsRespond back to end-users as needed, and follow up with them to maintain and improve service deliveryWe offer a full benefits package, including: Competitive pay plan Health, Dental and Life benefits401(k) retirement planEmployee discountsQualifications 1-3 years in a Customer Service position1-3 years of IT Help Desk Support experienceWindows and MS Office suite experiencePC hardware, Printers, scanners, computer peripherals, Mobile devices (iOS, Android)Basic technical support at the network levelProficiency or ability to quickly become proficient with managing an internal ticketing systemStrong computer literacy including MS office, Excel skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyFocused and driven to not only analyze problems, but collaborate to identify and deliver solutionsTeam player with ability to effectively communicate with those from the shop floor through senior leadership, conveying technology information in a clear, concise and understandable way.Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information TechnologyExperience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven businessesExperience with ConnectWise Automate and ESET desktop security productsAvaya IP OfficeCompTIA A+CompTIA Network +Job Type: Full-time
