You'll provide technical direction to the team and solutions to technical business problems.Apply your extensive knowledge of principles and advanced techniques to develop solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions while identifying and developing plans to address long term trends or issueQualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences 6 yearsBachelor degree or equivalentDesired Experiences AWS Certification preferredExperience implementing and operating resilient cloud environments.Experience in migrating from OnPrem environment to AWS. Experience categorizing workloads and developing a strategy by business criticality using RTO/RPO.Experience in creating strategies around recovery, attacks, or failure of any component in the workload's component. Identifying factors including stressed by load, bug, etc. Experience utilizing Amazon products: Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and NoSQL databases.Skills Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing.Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions.Experience identifying and selecting strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives.Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information.Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action.Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process.Tools Amazon Route 53, CloudFront, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon CloudFormationAmazon API GatewayAmazon DynamoDBAmazon S3NoSQL databasesExperience using JIRAExperience using APIs for developmentSkilled in using REST APISkilled in Python object-oriented programmingAdditional InformationJob REF ID: REF9640XThe future is what you make it to be.
