HR Manager National Spine & Pain Centers, the nation's largest interventional pain management practice, is seeking a qualified and energetic HR Manager to join the Human Resources team in our Frederick, MD corporate office. *This position will be primarily remote.Duties and responsibilities would include:Participate in staff-related employee relations responsibilities; to include, but not limited to, handling internal staff challenges, complaints and assisting personnel in moves and changes; support Director with employee terminations, as needed.Conduct all new hire orientations, as well as manage the new hire orientation program (to include maintaining and updating all relevant resources and information); additionally, support the Information Technology (IT) department in properly establishing IT rights/equipment needs for all new hires.Maintain, update, and distribute job descriptions and related information for all positions within the company.Supervise HR Coordinator and other HR staff members, as needed.Process terminations, to include advising all necessary parties, communicating with IT for cancellation of any system rights, and updating internal records.Support Director with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity, to include creation and distribution of offer letters and providing support to incoming employees regarding onboarding process.Research and compile employee engagement and other relevant KPIs for presentation to leadership with associated recommendations to improve operational performance.Promote HR programs to improve company culture and to create efficient and effective work environments.Assist in facilitation of tuition reimbursement program, to include reviewing and approving request for processing.Develop and implement HR guidelines, as well as educating staff on HR policies and procedures.Oversee and manage company performance management tasks, including utilizing the HRIS platform for distribution, completion, and tracking of employee development plans.Develop professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in appropriate societies.Answer and escalate internal and external HR related inquiries and/or requests.Participate on committees and perform special projects, as directed by management.Adhere to and uphold all applicable federal and state compliance regulations, the NSPC Code of Conduct, the NSPC Employee Handbook, compliance policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare fraud, waste and abuse laws.Understand, comply with, and enforce all NSPC policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and OSHA and HIPAA privacy rules.Ensure adherence to all compliance standards among all NSPC colleagues and staff, including those managed or overseen.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience in a generalist capacity, preferably supporting employees in various office locations; HR management experience, strongly preferred.Professional certification in Human Resources management, strongly preferred.Understanding and working knowledge of the SHRM Competency Model.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint functions.Experience using an HRIS system, preferably Paylocity.Capacity to analyze data and identify meaningful trending, as well as develop correspondence and communicate in an accurate, timely, and legible manner.Capability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.Excellent organizational/multi-tasking skills with acute attention to detail.Ability to provide outstanding customer service at all times by communicating effectively and professionally with a diverse population.Seeks ways to proactively improve the company's processes and outcomes.Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of information at all times.Ability to travel, as needed.Authorization to work in the United States without requiring authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.A satisfactory background check inclusive of driving records, criminal records, employment references, education, social security and OIG exclusions.National Spine & Pain Centers offers supportive management, a great working environment, competitive compensation, medical/dental/vision insurance options, life insurance plans, employer matched 401(k), holidays and PTO.We encourage all prospective candidates to learn more about NSPC by viewing our website at Spine & Pain Centers is an Equal Opportunity employer.
