The Senior Human Resource Business Partner will set the overall strategic direction for Talent Management. This role will be highly influential in building and preserving a competitive workplace. Execution in the creating and managing professional development, career paths, rotations, mentorships, and succession planning is key to the success of this role. This role will work across Owl's domestic and international businesses alongside our business leaders to develop and implement best practice programs that align to overall business goals and provide an optimum employee experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of HR including Talent Management, Professional Development, Employee Satisfaction and Benefits and RewardsImplement KPI's and metrics that map to the overall business growth strategyProactively pursue competitive best practices for hiring and retaining top talentOversee New Hire Onboarding to foster positive attitudes and explain organizational objectivesSupport employees to own and drive their careers, identify skills gaps and create development plans for successWork with hiring managers and executive team for headcount planning and budgetingResponsible for the design and implementation of a robust performance appraisal system for employee development, including mid-year Talent Reviews.Analyze training needs to design for best practice employee development and compliance programsAdvise and train managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and non-harassment and recommend a plan of action for needed changes.Serve as a link between management and employees to help resolve work related issues and resolve conflicts within groups.Coordinate and work with Managers on staffing requirements, employee counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations.Work with Executive Team to administer compensation, benefits, and employee appreciation events/programs.Maintain agreements for contract employees to support near-term project staffing requirements domestically and overseas.Assist, coach, and train Managers to better support their staffOther duties as assigned.Requirements/Qualifications: Education Must have a 4-year college degree in Human Resource Management or related field.SPHR and/or master's degree preferred.Experience 7-10 Years of Human Resource experience a must.Specific experience/strength in Talent Management is required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must have knowledge of principles and policies related to talent management/ recruitment, selection, training, benefits and negotiations within a high-tech company.Must have knowledge of State and Local Laws (CT, MD, NC), and Federal government regulations.Experience with ADP and Workday is a plus.Additional Competencies/Requirements Must possess high level of confidentiality.Must have experience working in a team oriented, fast paced growth-oriented environment.Must have excellent communication tools.Must have excellent organizational skills.Must be able to adapt to changing environment.Must pass a background check.Quarterly travel to Owl offices expected.US Citizenship required due to Government contracts About Owl Cyber Defense Solutions, LLC Owl Cyber Defense Solutions, LLC is a fast-growing cybersecurity solutions company, holding a firm leadership position in network security and secure information transfer.
