Lead Carpenter/Project Manager CMG CONSTRUX a Washington DC based luxury construction and design firm is looking for a highly skilled Lead Carpenter/Project Manager to join our team. In addition to performing active carpentry work, the Lead Carpenter/Project Manager is directly responsible for all on site project management and construction progress. This is a salaried position plus full benefits.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform rough and finish carpentry at the highest level. Supervise laborers, carpenters, trades and specialty subcontractors. Make daily work assignments, monitor quality, and motivate site crew. Maintain project schedules and project budget goals. Ensure jobsite safety and consistently enforce jobsite rules. Carefully adhere to architectural plans and design details. Openly communicate all construction concerns regarding plans and details with Management. Maintain regular client contact for duration of projects. Complete daily job logs online at the end of each work day. Submit orders for materials per company guidelines. Coordinate subcontractors needs and schedules with Management. Maintain online project management calendars for job sites and review with Management. Ensure that all end of day procedures are handled properly and professionally.
