We're a fully remote startup with our team working from a city they love across the United States and Canada.About The RoleAt Routable, our mission is to make the best Accounts Payable platform in the world, adding color to the otherwise grey field of accounting.We strive to help our customers succeed by giving them insight based on our practical knowledge and by making them look good with a positive user experience. You'll make a huge impact on the business, driving success metrics like revenue generation, customer retention, accurate forecasting, pipeline conversion and velocity, quota attainment, time to new-hire productivity and employee engagement.We are looking for individuals who are problem solvers and have a passion for helping customers find software that fits their needs.As Director of Sales, you will be an integral part of the Sales leadership team and will report directly to the Head of Sales. This is a unique opportunity to help build a sales team with a well-funded organization. You will help lead and grow a team of sales managers and sales reps to expand the adoption of Routable across our larger accounts. One day you might be figuring out how to scale the Sales Development Team and another day you might be working on new verticals for the Account Executives. You will join a highly motivated, energetic sales team that takes pride in establishing new customer relationships, running strategic sales cycles and delivering the Routable message to a wide range of customers across various industries.You will be accountable for:Motivate, mentor, manage and scale our Sales teamDevelop a healthy and inclusive sales culture that attracts, develops, and retains great sales talentPartner across sales leadership (solutions, sales development, operations) and company leadership (marketing, product, engineering, finance) to represent customers needs and challengesPartner with stakeholders to develop processes, policies and best-in-class systems for scalable growthDevelop and execute a Sales enablement strategy that includes systems and processes supporting our products throughout the customer lifecycleIdentify operational inefficiencies and drive cross-functional improvement initiativesOwn and regularly report on Sales department OKRsDevelop and implement best practices to maximize pipeline creation, customer conversion rates, forecasting accuracy, and cross-functional collaborationServe as a leadership sponsor to customers and help drive key executive relationshipsContinuing to develop and evolve the go-to-market strategy, including new vertical expansions, outbound strategy and pricingMinimum Qualifications6+ years of sales management experience with a track record of building teams and scaling revenue quickly at high growth companiesBuilt and managed high performing teamsStartup experience preferredProven track record of successfully scaling a Sales organization in the B2B spaceDemonstrated ability to continuously increase effectiveness of team, recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processesStrong knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboards, and highly focused on numbers and processProven track record running an outbound sales strategy LocationYou must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.We are a remote first company!
