SUMMARY: Serves as a liaison to and is responsible for assisting department managers/supervisor, employees and potential employees with all aspect of employment including recruiting, retention, employee engagement, training and development, employee relations, and counseling, compensation and employee benefits. Has a Strong customer contact and service focus. Operates a champion for our culture. Is a strategic business partner for the operations supported.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned and can vary depending on the business needs of each community.- Provide an advocacy/consulting role for employees experiencing problems/issues that impact their jobs and the work environment.- Assist in responding to employees' relation issues in partnership with appropriate line manager/supervisor.- Facilitate the recruiting and selection process. Work with management to ensure the selection of the best candidate for all positions.- Coordinate and facilitate new employee hiring process.- Deliver the New Employee Orientation-update and maintain any relevant materials.( if applicable)- Assist in the formation , interpretation and implementation of policies, procedures and programs.- Develop, facilitate and deliver employee or management training /workshops and classes.- Track and ensure EEOC, FMLA, ADA and OSHA compliance.- Process Unemployment and Worker Compensation claims.( if applicable)- EAP, tuition reimbursement and Facilitate employee communication to enhance the understanding and appreciation of benefits programs. Support employee inquiries regarding their benefits with appropriate resources/vendors.- Process governmental filings and other related required reports- Coordinate and develop employee event planning and employee development programs.- Monitor performance management process- Generate management information reports from HRIS at the request of client.- Partner with employees and management with PeopleSoft and Kronos instruction.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. College degree preferred. Degree may be substituted with additional years of HR experience.Experience with PeopleSoft and Kronos program preferredSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/ALANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language.L*ICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: *Human Resource certification preferred, ie PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP or SCP.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
