Position Summary: Segue Technologies Inc seeks a Secret cleared Application Support Specialist to work on-site at the Pentagon Arlington, VA. This position is currently remote with one day on-site per week. After COVID-19 restrictions are lifted telework is available after approval on a part time basis.Segue Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tetra Tech, Inc. Segue is based out of Arlington, VA, with a presence in 14 states and DC. We support Federal and DoD organizations to develop and enhance mission-critical business systems. Segue's employees work together to comply with all applicable health & safety practices and protocols, including health orders and regulations related to COVID-19 that are mandated by local, state and federal authorities.Our compensation package includes: Competitive Annual Salaries, Rewards and Recognition Program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Paid Time Off that Increases with Seniority, Paid Holidays, Life and Disability Insurance, 401K Retirement Plan with Employer Contribution, Dental, Vision, and Health Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Tuition and Training Reimbursement.Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Application Support responsibilitiesProvide technical support for host, application, and database trouble shooting, root cause analysis, and close coordination with the Development team for application issuesProvide proactive preventative and corrective systems maintenance to consistently meet system availability customer service targetsProvide superior customer service and satisfaction through responsive user and application supportSupport of Business Objects and/or Power Bi reporting tools utilized by the Air Force manpower communityDevelop and maintain system documentation for system operations, web server operations, backup and recovery, and system audit plans Systems Administration responsibilitiesAnalyze system logs for host platforms, SQL database, and application error logs to identify and trouble shoot performance or reliability issuesVerify backup integrity by running routine tests across systemReview Backup & System logsDeploy and upgrade off the shelf software releases and application stack using Cold Fusion, .Net, in support of the development teamSupport with implementing STIGs to support updated security controlsMaintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts to ensure they reflect current security posture as changes to the system are madeMaintain operating systems and applications software installing, maintaining, upgrading, and implementing security vulnerability mitigationPerform Restart and Recovery Procedures Help Desk responsibilitiesHelpdesk support to include supporting custom Air Force applications using Agile and DevSecOps processesTrack Incidents and Service Requests using Atlassian JIRA and maintaining knowledge base with Confluence documenting resolutionsRespond to service outages, tracking system availability, and proactive monitoring to prevent unnecessary down timeCoordinate with the appropriate organizations to resolve network or infrastructure related problemsDocument all system changes as part of the Change Management processOn site customer support during normal business hours Additional tasks as requiredRequired Skills: 3-5 years of technical work experience of which at least 1 year of experience providing Windows Server and web enabled application support with at least 1 year as Helpdesk support for a large-scale applicationWillingness and desire to learn in a technical roleStrong client-facing skills with a customer service orientation and commitment to qualityExperience with application, database, and host server monitoring for multiple Windows Server 2012 instances and SQL Server databaseKnowledge of Cold Fusion and.Net application stackExperience performing Restart and Recovery ProceduresExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMust be able to obtain IAT Level II Certification required (CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)Active Secret clearanceExperience providing IT support to government customersDesired Skills: Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceActive CompTIA certification is preferredExperience administering web enabled database applicationsPrior experience in a collaborative Agile or DevSecOps organization focused on user experienceExperience administering enterprise applications in both on premise Virtual Machines and Cloud hosting environments (AWS or Azure)Experience administering Business Objects instances and report authoring, user support (Business Objects and/or Power BI)Experience with Risk Management Framework and system security, implementing vulnerability remediationExperience supporting the Air Force or other DoD customerRisk Management Framework (RMF) experienceSegue Technologies, A Tetra Tech Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
