We are seeking a Sales Operations Intern for Summer 2022 to join our team and assist in migrating our software contract archive from Dropbox into DocuSign CLM, a process that will require analytic skills and a high attention to detail.

In this role, you will help our team bring our legal documents into the cloud, cataloguing the ways that our contracts have changed over time and the changes that our clients have requested. You will gain insight into our sales process and our legal negotiations. This role will include collaboration with the frontline sales representatives and technical account managers in ongoing negotiations. This work is crucial as we scale our business - we need you!

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, critical thinker with high proficiency in written English who enjoys research and qualitative analysis. If you'd interested in business or the law and you'd like to learn more about commercial negotiations, this is the position for you!

This is a paid full-time internship that will span 90 days from May to August 2022. Start and end dates are flexible.

**This position could be 100% remote in the US for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Contract Specialist in analyzing archive of fully executed contracts developing system to report the status of specific attributes for migration into DocuSign in a manifest document
  • Learn how we have managed contract negotiations over time and assist with ongoing negotiations to ensure consistency in the contract archive
  • Collaborate across teams who are key stakeholders in our contracts: Sales, Account Management, App Security, Customer Experience / Customer Enablement, and Legal


Minimum Qualifications
  • Rising college junior or senior progressing toward a Bachelor's degree, or a Master's candidate
  • Interested in software contracts, either software sales or legal analysis
  • Experience as a research assistant
  • Due to the opportunity to work remotely during COVID-19, we seek interns who are self-motivated, assertive in asking for help, and able to be self-sufficient while working in an online team
  • A collaborative spirit and a proven ability to work well with others, building strong partnerships across teams
  • Inquisitive and curious problem solver always looking to understand the "why"
  • Excellent at both written and spoken communication
  • Access to reliable high-speed internet for remote work


Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience using DocuSign CLM / SpringCM
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS software
  • Experience reviewing, procuring, or negotiating contracts
  • Experience as a software developer
