Job SummaryAmentum is seeking a Utility Cleaner Lead to join our team in Arlington, VA! As a Utility Cleaner Lead, you will oversee a team to ensure the cleanliness of communal spaces, restrooms, workspaces, and outside areas as assigned. The Utility Cleaner Lead reports to the Custodial Project Manager and monitors custodial assignments, performance, schedules and supply inventory. Essential Responsibilities:Performs a variety of duties that involve sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting and polishing of surfaces and floors; removing trash; re-stocking supplies; and cleaning restrooms.Responsible for scheduling of personnel, work assignments, and quality control.Coordinate daily safety briefs and oversee safety training with personnel.Identifies any service, equipment, and personnel issues and relays them to the Custodial Project Manager.Monitors custodial supply inventory, anticipates needs, and relays information to the Custodial Project Manager.Ensures accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork including documentation of shift activities.Reports observed damage or vandalism and perform minor maintenance repairs.Complies with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility, and job assignment.Performs all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.Minimum RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.Knowledge of the Hazardous Materials Information System.Ability to read and understand instructions and labels, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products.Computer literate in common software applicationsAbility to successfully complete assigned occupational and web-based training.Must possess effective communication skills.Preferred Qualifications At least two (2) years of custodial experience preferred.Previous supervisory experience preferred.EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.If you are an applicant with a disability that requires a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, or are limited in the abilityor unable to usethe online application system and need an alternative method for applying, you may contact our Reasonable Accommodation Helpline at 1-888-877-3181 or 301-944-3299 or email itsupport@amentum.com for assistance.
