Title:Risk Management EngineerCONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARDKBR is seeking a Risk Management Engineer to join our Team ! You will be a high-performing member of a team supporting NAVAIR PEO-T by providing risk management and engineering support for an advanced research and development program. Tasking includes developing the risk management strategy for documenting the risk management process within the program, creating and maintaining a database of all program risks, and actively tracking program risks.You will represent the Risk Management Program at leadership meetings and support the Risk Management process as delineated in the DOD Risk Management Guide for Defense Acquisition Programs.Risk reports, risk metrics and briefings created by you will directly support program leadership and stakeholder decisions.You will provide engineering analyses throughout the design, engineering, integration, test, and program execution process.You will work hand-in-hand with primary contract vendors and program leadership to ensure risk process adherence to secure the confidence of the NAVAIR stakeholder. Finally, you will interface daily with government and other contractor personnel in a team environment.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or business related field from an accredited college or university is required.A minimum of five (5) years of Risk Management experience in a DoD Program Office is required.A current Top Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 6 years is required.Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes is required.Preferred ExperienceMust be able to work in a dynamic, complex security environmentExcellent written and verbal communicationsProficient in all Microsoft Office, including Project, and Adobe productsProfessionalism and customer serviceTravel: 20% travel is requiredContract requirements will prevail.
