Construction Manager opening with boutique DC developer. This role will start by overseeing construction of a new, ultra-high-end condominium building in McLean, VA. Responsibilities: Oversee general contracting activities for new constructionCoordinate development and approval of architectural and engineering construction drawings. Review plans, facilitate permit procurement with partners, manage bid process, oversee improvements with the property team and close out projects.Solicit, prepare and evaluate bid documents and review contracts to ensure complete scope coverage.Work with our partners to facilitate site visits as part of the RFP process and meet with all necessary parties to facilitate obtaining necessary building permits.Summarize all pricing, level bids, and present an analysis comparing the bids to the original cost out estimates.Manage the construction process by conducting regular job site meetings with subcontractors, owner representatives, architects, engineers, consultants, and other project personnel.Requirements: 7-15 years of construction management experience (open to GC or Developer background) Experience on large, ground-up multi-family or office projects valued at $30M+ Interested in learning more?
