Kforce has a client that is seeking a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Bethesda, MD.Summary:The client is seeking a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert with recent practical experience to both plans, implement, and configure SharePoint/Office 365 infrastructure and define, architect, and implement solutions using rapid application development approaches within the SharePoint and Office 365 platforms. Our client has implemented SharePoint throughout their offices to provide a platform for workflow automation across the Enterprise. To date, the environment is currently supporting on-premises SharePoint Sites. Our client is migrating those sites to SharePoint Cloud 365 instances where applicable. The on-premises SharePoint sites are being transitioned to Cloud 365 sites & libraries for ease of remote accessibility, deploying platform tools and features using best practice approaches.Primary Responsibilities: * SharePoint leads the technical team in the design and implementation of SharePoint environments and the migration of SharePoint-to-SharePoint Cloud 365 environments * Establishes processes for monitoring and supporting SharePoint Server farm architectures * Provides thoughtful leadership on application architecture, establish processes & best practices for the design and rapid development of solutions and/or workflow in SharePoint using native toolsets and third-party tools * Provides knowledge and expertise on Office 365 to support end user adoption of suite applications like Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate and SharePoint Online * Build and configure SharePoint farms to support intranet, extranet, development, training, and test environments * As a SharePoint, you will perform backups, migrations, and recovery of SharePoint objects using out of box capabilities and enterprise backup and recovery tools * Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft software add-ins, third-party tools, and COTS development tools * Six or more years of experience working with SharePoint (including but not limited to integration, installation, and project management) * Must have experience working with 2007, 2010, and most recent version of SharePoint Software * Prior engagement with a government agency/bureau or a private entity where multi-department workflows exist * Experience working as SharePoint Architect/Developer with client-side development (ie, web services, master pages, page layouts, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, C#) * Experience implementing Microsoft SharePoint in a mixed hardware/software environment * O365 Administration: Knowledgeable of O365 tenant-wide settings; Knowledgeable of new and upcoming features O365 workloads like Planner, Stream, Forms, etc.; Test and plan their rollout Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
