Informatica Platform Administrator/EngineerRemoteJob Description:The position will challenge successful candidates with consolidating individual instances of Informatica across a large, virtualized enterprise into a shared multi-tenant Informatica instance. Candidates shall significant demonstrable experience and be proficient with planning for and installing, upgrading, patching, and monitoring Informatica environments required to support business requirements. Candidates will be proficient in monitoring and performing analysis to optimize performance of Informatica processes and workflows operating in a multi-tenant environment. Familiarity with securing and hardening Informatica in accordance with DoD cyber security requirements is necessary to include the ability to design and maintain a complex platform security model that provides isolation of tenant processes, data, file systems, and maintenance activities such as recycling tenant services from other tenants.Qualifications:6+ years' experience administrating, installing, upgrading, and patching a shared services multi-tenant Informatica Power Center Advanced Edition (PCAE) platform.Experience managing and administrating on-premises virtualized Informatica environments supporting the full SDLC operating in the IBM AIX operating system.3+ years' experience working in a Unix environment with demonstrable ability to write complex shell scripts to provide administration and platform support.Proven experience with ETL development using Informatica Power Center client tools.Proven experience with Informatica Power Center administration.Proven experience providing security administration design and policy with respect to users and privileges within all Informatica domains.Proven experience and strong communication skills to work with system owners and other stakeholders to troubleshoot end-to-end data integration environments comprised of data sources, workflows and transformations, operating systems, applications, app servers, and networks.Soft SkillsExperience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts).Strong collaboration skills with track record of taking solution ownership.Communication skills key!
