Mid-size Intellectual Property law firm in Reston, VA is seeking an Administrative Assistant. Responses requested from direct candidates only. Flexible hybrid work schedules.Administrative Assistant: Review/monitor incoming correspondence and draft responses/outgoing correspondence for attorneys Organize/update correspondence files Prepare debit notes/billing Download application and patent records from the USPTO website Conduct searches for public information, documents and references Order articles/references Assist attorneys and paralegals with docketing and filing Organize attorneys' schedule Make travel arrangements for partners and associates Make arrangements for meetings Organize conferences, seminars, and other Firm events Handle general correspondence and other administrative duties Liaise with Firm members and outside parties as necessaryRequired Characteristics and Credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent. Willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly. Experience: Preferred 1 year Office experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), document management, file management, calendaring, Adobe and other software. Attention to detail.
