Our client is seeking a talented Artistic Director for a fully remote, project-based assignment (4-month contract with potential to extend). The Art Director must be obsessed with athletes, attitude, authenticity, and all things digital, at every customer touchpoint! The director will be driven and work well in the face of the challenges that balancing big projects and tight deadlines bring. You will be leading a given project forward working closely with multiple stakeholders from marketing and creative leadership to operational and production partners streamlining creative development, ensuring the brand vision executes successfully.Candidate must be willing to work East Coast hours.Art Director ResponsibilitiesBrand and Seasonal marketing: concept, development, and design - across all digital, social, web, experiential, and print marketing platforms. This includes meeting with partners to align on marketing/creative strategy, as well as collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners. Utilize regional and global data to elevate consumer experiences through art and copyCross functional team collaboration: CPL, Category, Comms, Media, Global and In-Region TeamsWork collaboratively with the Creative Director, designers, agency partners, external resources, copy, category partners and production partners Influence cross-functional teams on brand excellence and current/future design trends Collaborative, intuitive, pro-active, a good problem solver and able to negotiate solves given differing opinions from differing stakeholders.Art Director RequirementsSolid portfolio showing best in class solutionsGreat collaborator who does not just take part in cross-functional projects but is vocal and understands how to lead/inspire & get the best out of their teammates.Understanding of all aspects of creative: copy, imagery, design, retail, video and social content. Excellent presentation skills and a track record of successfully pitching in concepts to leadership.The ability to dissect complex problems and provide solutions.
