He/she advises and provides direction as appropriate to Operations Manager(s)/Operations Supervisors/restaurant staff on HR-related issues. With support from the HR Manager, demonstrates Global Community Of Experts to provide experienced assistance to company-owned restaurants.This role will cover the MD, VA and DC markets.Role:Work with Ops Manager(s) to identify key People priorities across the Profit Center(s), help execute the Profit Center People action plan aligned with the National People StrategyWith the HR Manager, you will contribute to the execution of the Region's People PlanProvides coaching, training, counsel, and direction to OperationsAssist People leaders and restaurant managers in conducting on-boarding/ orientation and exit/off-boardingPartner with Operations to deliver on all aspects of Staffing, Performance Management, and RetentionRecruitment, Interviewing, Selection, OrientationRequired employee documentation and file administrationCrew performance appraisal and wage managementRestaurant-level benefits, incentives and awards & leading performance standardsProper management of leaves of absences and Worker's Comp casesDisciplinary actions including terminationLeading the People aspect of restaurant divestitures/acquisitionsEducate, inform, and assess to help ensure restaurants execute/comply with People initiatives and toolsEmployee engagement and commitment programsWorkforce Planning - effectively anticipate restaurant management needs, help Ops Supervisors and General Managers develop and execute a planSuccession Planning - Coach and advise partners to ensure a robust talent pipeline to meet the needs of the restaurantsEmployee DevelopmentDevelop and help ensure development of GMs, DMsSupport education/training/coaching to help People leaders be more effectivePartner with Operations Supervisor to implement and ensure proper execution of People policies and practicesPartner with HR Manager and Employee Relations COE to ensure employee engagement initiatives are effectively executed including (but not limited to):Investigations into potential violationsPlans and practices that provide a fair, equitable, and respectful work environmentAssist in deploying change initiatives through education and training for Operations staff and restaurant managementThe role will require regular travel.QualificationsMust have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered.
