Primary responsibilities include order production (pick/pack/check) of products. Pulls orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment and verifies outgoing shipments. Responsible for counting, receiving, stocking, replenishing and rotating stock in the warehouse on a daily basis.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesComplete pick/pack/check process of order production.Fills customer pick tickets. Checks part numbers, cleans and packs inventory items and scaling orders for delivery and shipment.Inspects inventory for defects, scratches or other damage. Notifies Warehouse Management of problems.Reads, understands, uses and follows information on orders, cases, merchandise, equipment and procedures.Prepares orders by processing pick tickets, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area.Maintains correct written procedures on pick tickets. Scaling of pick tickets.Participates in cycle counting, stocking and re-stocking of inventory as needed.Assist with receipt of LTL, full truck loads or containers of merchandise as needed.Assist Warehouse Management for an on-time finish each day.Maintain quality service by following organization standards.Maintains a safe and clean environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and work stations neat; maintain clean and organized warehouse areas.Follows all safety rules regarding warehouse operations and proper safety equipment.Traits and CharacteristicsAbility to work independently and be a self starter.Ability to work in a goal oriented team environmentAbility to work under time constraints while meeting productivity, accuracy and service relatedperformance standards.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Strong attention to detail as measured by a high degree of order accuracy.Ability to handle pressure in order to meet deadlines.Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsContinual lifting, grasping and using force with handsMust be able to lift 50lbs on a frequent basis, 25lbs on a continual basis and 65lbs on an occasional basis.Must be able to move from stationary position to bending, lifting, squatting and reaching positions on a continual basis.Standing/walking for up to 8 1/2 hours, with 1/2 hour lunch and two 10 minutes breaks at rest periods.Must be able to twist and turn on a continual basis.May be noisy and hot/cold at times. Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime as neededEquipment UsedEmployee will be responsible for operation and manipulation of cutting shears, chop saw or radial arm saw and other company tools.Must be able to operate the forklift, motorized pallet jacks and hand pallet jacksRolling ladders and step stools and banding equipment.
