Infant Lead Teacher Greater Montessori School, is currently seeking Infant Lead Teachers who is warm, motivated, and is an organized individual. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.Infant Lead Teacher Job DescriptionWorking with Infants in a Center is requiredMaintaining the appearance, cleanliness and safety of your classroomCommunicating effectively with parents through greeting them by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback and providing regular updates on their children's development and classroom activitiesIdentifying opportunities and issues in the classroom and working with the Assistant Teacher to resolve themMaintaining the appropriate CEU level each yearAttending all team meetings, trainings and events as requestedPresenting a positive and professional image at all times by adhering to our uniform requirementsMaintaining confidentiality regarding families, colleagues and yourselfInfant Lead Teacher Job RequirementsMust be at least 19 years of age or olderHigh school degree required;90 hours Infant Toddler Certification is Required.9 hours of communicationsMinimum 2 years of work experience with Infant age group in a centerComprehensive working knowledge of child behavioral and developmental stagesKnowledge of MSDE-OCC licensing requirementsExcellent work attendanceValid CPR and First Aid certificationsBasic computer literacyAbility to work on the floor with students and lift up to 50 poundsAbility to pass a background check and drug screenJob Type: Full-timePay: $34,000.00 - $40,000.00 per yearCOVID-19 considerations:We are adhering to OCC and CDC Guidelines to keep children as well as our staff safe.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:90 hour Infant Toddler Certification (Required)2 years of experience working in a center (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
