Location: Washington, DCJob DescriptionSupport the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Project Manager.Provide support to the Joint Cyber Operations Integration Center (JCOIC) as a Project Manager in the Operations department. The Project Manager will be responsible for functional aspects to include project scheduling, facilitating meetings, taking meeting minutes, writing up agendas, tracking risks, and managing operational taskings from inception to closure. This is a functional role, and the Project Manager will not be delegating tasks but will work with team members to support the Operations team, assist and coordinate with the Cyber Action Teams (CAT) and to facilitate tracking actions across the JCOIC.Basic qualifications:10+ years of professional work experience is required.Experience managing Information Technology related projects specifically Health IT systems, Cerner Millenium, VA VistA and VA VIPExperience in lifecycle, project management and SDLC methodologies to deliver softwareExperience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progressAbility to identify and mitigate risksExperience managing and directing technical teams and projects which require integration between multiple systems and understanding of interfaces by providing technical insight and mitigation of issuesExperience and understanding of VA or DoD legacy systemsExperience with interfaces with devices (Eg BioMed) in a healthcare environment, familiarity with messaging and common interfacesKnowledge of middle tier solutions, in particular Rhapsody and HealthShareExperience developing, interpreting, and reviewing architectures, in particular DoDAF and UML system interface modelsExperience with large scale IT implementationExperience with Executive reportingExperience with collecting, tracking, and reporting metricsExperience with facilitating meetings, taking meeting minutes, agendas, and tracking meeting actions and decisionsExperience with modifying a Project scheduleExperience with documenting Standard Operating ProceduresBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline is required, or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirementsAdditional qualifications:Experience in the VAExperience implementing Electronic Health RecordsExperience working in an Operations Cell or Project Management Office teamPreferred candidate will be able to collect and track metrics with minimal supervisionPreferred candidate will be able to lead an effort from beginning to completion.
