The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, initiating, and managing IT projects.Primary Responsibilities: Leads and guides the work of technical staff and serves as a liaison between the company and client for all business and technical aspects of the projectPlans project stages and assesses business implications for each stageMonitors progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met*Tasks*:Develop and manage the structure and timelines of IT projectsDevelop or update project plan information with objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, schedules, funding, and staffingManage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope and submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standardsMonitor or track project milestones and deliverablesAssign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel; coordinate selection of project personnel; and direct or coordinate activities of project personnelConfer with project personnel to identify and resolve problemsIdentify need for initial or supplemental project resources and identify, review, or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs.
