Description:Circinus is seeking an Avaya Certified VOIP network technician to support a US Government agency in a secure, unclassified VOIP network. as follows:Tests VOIP telecom systems and reports on resultsMonitors and troubleshoots telecom problems at the level 1 support level and tracks trouble tickets and elevates to level 2 and level 3 support as necessaryEvaluates telecom software and hardware and develops reports at the request of the client agencyInstalls telecom components and manages end point maintenance, inventory and life cycle in LAN, WAN, and telecom environmentsDevelops and assists with implementation and monitoring of security proceduresTrains end users with both formal and ad hoc training and documents training in accordance with client operating procedures. Requirements:Associates degree in a related field or 1-4 years of experience specifically in voice and video solutions to include Polycom, and Avaya configuration management and endpoint management including SIP and H.323 protocolsMust be eligible to work in the US and have a current US driver's licenseOccasional travel to sites within 50 miles of the normal work location is required
