If you are interested in joining an organization that is growing and offering an opportunity for professional growth, please apply for this opportunity.POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for supervision of the Warehouse Department which includes shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. The work is performed in conjunction with other shift supervisors and managers.WORK HOURS: Day shift: Mon - Sat 5:00am - 3:00pm or until complete (off Sunday & one other day during the week)PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESFollow all company policy and procedures including compliance to food safety HACCP program requirements.Coordinate with Warehouse and Operations Managers for daily assignment.Supervise employees on Shipping tasks guided by the associated SOP'sSupervise employees on Receiving tasks guided by the associated SOP'sReview Inventory Controls including cycle countingReview Quality Controls for incoming and outgoing product.Train and mentor warehouse employees.Coordinate and provide support with the Production Department as needed.Oversee the returns and rejections of product according to the associated SOP's.Consult with Sales Department to ensure timely on time delivery and specifications are met.Monitor shipping needs through Famous software and communicate with the Sales Department throughout the dayMonitor routes and assisting in dispatching driver during the shift for efficiency and on-time deliveryEnsure Driver Check-In SOP's are followed.Fill in for Warehouse Manager as needed.Other duties as needed.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years supervisor experiencePrevious supervisory experience in produce industry preferred.Knowledge of produce grading and quality standards preferred.Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving processes in a distribution center.Material Handling equipment operation experience.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.WORKING CONDITIONSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
