Cultivation Technician

The RoleThe Cultivation Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the vegetation cycle of all sustainable plants within the facility.ResponsibilitiesPlant maintenance in veg cycle: Topping plantsBottoming plantsTransplantingMixing soilScouting for disease or potential insectsTraining plantsFlower: Move plants from veg to flowerStick irrigation emitters into plantsLay trellis netting and work plants into placeDefoliate and prune plantsHarvest: Prepare room for harvestHarvest/ take down plantsDefoliate and break plants into smaller piecesHang plants on dry rackClean both dry and flower rooms in between harvestsCleanliness: Sweeping, mopping and all other required cleaningCleaning of the plant housing devicesMaintenance and cleaning of the plant tablesMaintenance of the plant potsReporting any issues to management to ensure a timely fixRequirementsPrevious experience working with plants, plant disease and pests is desiredStrong work ethic with flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidaysProven ability to maintain consistency in a fast paced, hard working, high-stress environmentHigh attention to detail with ability to scout for disease and pests is requiredAbility to work in ever changing physical conditionsMust possess a can-do attitude and be able to work with a teamMust be able to obtain required licensing at time of hire and submit personal information for licensing and fingerprintingMust be 21 years of age or older**As an employer of more than 100 employees, Green Thumb will be operating in accordance with the Biden Administration's *Path Out of the Pandemic** should the mandate take effect.*Job Type: Full-time
