  • You will develop and implement policies, controls, and procedures for all aspects of operations within PMA259.
  • You will assist in preparing briefs and organizing meetings.
  • You will assist with acquisition related matters when needed.
  • You will monitor training requirements/status for all PEO(T) PMA Personnel.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A - PROGRAM MANAGEMENT Level 3. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
  • This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must be a member of the Acquisition Corps, become a member, or obtain a waiver at the time of selection and sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 broad band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following:1) Identifying methods to resolve problems or managing issues that directly affect the accomplishment of weapons system or acquisition program goals and objectives; 2) Translating program guidance into policy direction to assist program office staff and Integrated Program Team (IPT) leaders and members; 3) Overseeing day-to-day operations for the PMA Deputy Program Manager (DPM) and Program Manager (PM); 4) Developing and implementing policies, controls, and procedures for all aspects of operations; and 5) Forecasting program personnel resource requirements, answering workforce risk assessments, coordination of the Shared Resources spreadsheet, ensuring personnel shared among the PMA are accounted and budgeted for.
