Duties

  • You will serve as senior project member for the oversight of design, development, production, integration, and fleet introduction/installation and support of various combat identification systems.
  • You will lead the specification, design, and development of products that offer the best potential within cost, schedule, performance, and other constraints.
  • You will conducts assessments, site surveys, interface analyses, functional analyses, and standards evaluation to develop an understanding of prospective users? capabilities and constraints as imposed by the work environment or legacy systems.
  • You will direct systems installation and initial implementation and certification testing.
  • You will prepare detailed plans for assigned projects and estimate resource requirements.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

For GS 13: In addition to your experience demonstrating the following areas above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing, coordinating, directing, and overseeing all aspects of IT systems efforts for multiple sponsors; 2) Leading the planning, designing, developing, acquiring, documenting, testing, implementing, integrating, maintaining, and modifying systems for requirement changes; 3) Leading efforts to resolve fleet IT integration/installation issues; and 4) Providing detailed and diversified IT system design and installation recommendations.

For GS 12: In addition to your experience demonstrating the following areas above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Managing, coordinating, and directing aspects of IT systems efforts for multiple levels of personnel and customers; 2) Planning, designing, developing, acquiring, documenting, testing, implementing, integrating, maintaining, and modifying systems for requirement changes;3) Resolving fleet IT integration/installation issues; and 4) Assisting in providing detailed and diversified IT system design and installation recommendations.
