For more information, please visit: . ResponsibilitiesOur Software Engineers are experienced professionals who provide software engineering expertise to our clients. They work directly with teammates and our National Security clients to execute the following job responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.Works individually or as part of a team to reviews and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and document test results.Resolve software problem reports.Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment and specific input to the software components of system design. QualificationsThe following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.An CURRENT and ACIVE TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraphMust be willing to upgrade polygraph to a FULL SCOPEBachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelorA cents € (TM) s degreeFourteen (14) years experience as a software engineerDemonstrated experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirementsDemonstrated experience debugging existing software and correcting defectsProven ability to provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standardsDemonstrated experience designing and coding new software or modify existing software to add new featuresDemonstrated experience integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environmentsProven ability to develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositoriesDemonstrated experience writing or reviewing software and system documentationDemonstrated experience serving as team lead within the software development processProven ability to design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries, as well as algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standardsDemonstrated experience assisting with developing and executing test procedures for software componentsExperiencing developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers; as well as analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes, and investigating problem areasDemonstrated experience modifying existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performanceProven ability to design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of designDemonstrated experience designing or implementing complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints, and performing quality control on team productsDemonstrated experience overseeing one or more software development teamsProven abilty to work with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfacesDemonstrated experience coordinating software system installation and monitoromg equipment functioning Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
