Required Clearance: must be US Citizen w/ active Public Trust or ability to obtain Public TrustPatriot is seeking a Senior Salesforce developer who will customize, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize our client's Salesforce applications. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will have a very good understanding and experience in software engineering concepts. You will be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. You have a strong foundation in Salesforce coding and development experience.‪Requirements:Must have experience working in Agile development, testing, UAT, and deploymentPerform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platformTake responsibility for developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP and REST Web ServicesAutomate processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow Assignment Rules, E-mail AlertsCollaborate with team members and other departments in defining business requirements for optimal use of Salesforce functionalityParticipate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentationWilling to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platformProactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and "how-to" assistance.Performs regular reviews on implementation done by less experienced developers and offer feedback and suggestions for those codesMentors the junior and mid-level developers of the team, and can designate tasks to team members in a balanced and effective mannerSet up a development environment on one's own, and can mentor junior developersProactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce ApplicationsCreate and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/proceduresBe able to communicate development progress to senior managementIndependently communicate with both client technical teams and business owners as needed during the design and implementationQualificationsMinimum 10 years experienceAt least Salesforce certification "Salesforce Platform Developer II"Experience working in an Agile environmentDirect experience working on CRM projects for middle market and enterprise size companiesWorking knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and developmentSoftware engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Unit Testing)Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and jQueryExperience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUMExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsExperienced in Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration ToolsExperienced with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript)Experience using tools like JIRA, Rally, Git, SVN Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the companyAs required by Executive Order 14042, government contractor employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee's duty location or work arrangement (eg, telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law.
