This position is for a Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Database Developer responsible for successful delivery of technology initiatives. Candidates for this role will be supporting the development and operations requirements working cohesively with other database developers/leads/subject matter experts, database administrators, architects, data quality analysts, and other teams, as well as manage client relationships within the context of an individual role. Summary of Duties: Design, develop and deploy large scale projects following iterative and agile SDLC models. Responsible for all aspects of backend (database) development under the guidance / direction of subject matter and technical experts in CNSI's Technology functional department Write/maintain SQL and PL/SQL stored program units/packages and maintain coding standards Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and work out a design and contribute to overall success. Write unit test cases for the PL/SQL stored procedures/packages for business requirements. Support Software Quality Assurance team to develop complex test scenarios. Participate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with CNSI's best practices and provides improvement feedback to developers Continue enhancing own PL/SQL skills on new practices, frameworks and standards and recommend improvements to existing software programs. Perform gap and impact analysis of system software for change requests. Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience. Solid experience in PL/SQL, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, creating database tables, views, create and maintain PL/SQL objects like Packages, Procedures and Functions etc. Experience and knowledge of version control and defect management tools. Expertise in fine tuning the SQL queries and improving application performance. Working knowledge in relational databases and concepts, preferably Oracle. Desired Qualifications: Domain knowledge of Medicare/healthcare verticals and MMIS experience in Medicaid - Provider and Claims module are strongly preferred Experience with Federal and State government preferred. Knowledge of SharePoint applications, MS Teams and Jira preferred
