Develop, evaluate, and improve Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, procedures, and models.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs tasks with little to no guidance
Develop MBSE models for Government programs.
Evaluate vendor provided models for requirements, functionality, and testing.
Assist transformation of existing Government projects into MBSE based development processes.
Utilize principles of systems engineering, and other engineering disciplines, to evaluate and recommend software solutions, MBSE best practices, and clarify requirements.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
At least 5 years of experience applying systems engineering practices to development programs. Experience applying MBSE principles to development programs.
Thorough understanding of MBSE practices and standards.
Familiarity with DoD and NAVAIR acquisition processes and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, experienced team member, ability to work closely with multiple diverse teams simultaneously, and the drive to contribute to program success.
Ability to work independently, or in a multi-discipline team.
Desire and ability to leverage lessons learned by evaluating processes and solutions/conclusions from previous efforts.
Desired Skills:
MBSE certification.
Master's degree in systems engineering.
