Server Build Technician

Your Role and Responsibilities IBM Cloud offers a unified platform that gives you cloud computing any way you want it, deployed on demand, with a single pane of glass for systems management (one portal; one Application Programming Interface (API)). IBM is currently recruiting for Server Build Technician's to join the Cloud team. Essential Duties: * Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) servers * Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment * Troubleshoot, test, quality assurance of server hardware * Professionally resolve hardware issues via trouble ticket * WDC01 Required Technical and Professional Expertise * Operating System Installation - Windows Server, Linux, Unix * Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment a plus * Web Server and Database installation experience a plus * Must be able to work in this country without company sponsorship * Must be fluent in English * Must be willing to learn quickly, multi-task, and work in a fast pace environment Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise * High School Diploma/GED
