The Business Development Representative for Dragos will focus on following up on inbound leads, prospecting into potential customer accounts, and building a pipeline for their Account Managers.The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and outcome-driven team player. Excellent prioritization, organization, and focus are essential in this role. You'll work with Inside Sales Representatives and Account Managers to identify target accounts and craft outbound campaigns with the goal of increasing prospects' awareness and interest in Dragos.You will be extremely effective at building rapport over the phone with a range of decision-makers. You will be relentless in understanding the needs, pain points, and desired outcomes of our prospects and customers. You must be technically proficient and able to communicate the value of Dragos to both technical and business leaders.You'll be the type of person who thrives in an early-stage environment.To be considered, candidates must be within commuting distance of Dragos headquarters in Hanover, MD.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand Dragos' product offering, value proposition, and the competitive landscapeBe knowledgeable about our partners and their integrated product and services offeringsSet meetings with organizations within our targeted verticals and personas via integrated marketing campaigns, marketing activities, and traditional outbound phone callsRespond to and qualify inbound leads regarding Dragos productsPartner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skillsMaintain active engagement with new and existing leads to increase interest in DragosAchieve monthly & quarterly quotas of quality meetings and sourced opportunitiesMaintain Salesforce as the system of recordDaily cold calling and emailing to target accounts>Requirements1-2 years of sales, recruiting, or similar professional experienceHigh acumen for and desire to learn salesQuick learner, very quantitative, highly inquisitiveVery comfortable being on the phoneExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable using Salesforce to organize and maximize prospecting efforts into target accountsGoal-oriented with the desire to winHighly organized and strong time management skillsHighly motivated, tenacious self-starter>CompensationOTE: $70,000OTE + Benefits + Equity = $100,000Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K with match)Equity at Dragos is quickly growing and the total compensation under-represents the future growth and refresh program.
