Fauquier HealthThe Surgical Services Technician assists with the total care given by the interdisciplinary team members to the surgical patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Patient care is provided in preoperative preparation, intra - and post - operative assessments, and the planning and delivery of care.Job Requirements:Completed formal Surgical Technician program with certification. CST Certification, Must be certified within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS). Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
