ECS is seeking an HR Specialist- Benefits to work in our Fairfax, VA office. Job Description:We seek a dynamic HR leader to serve as the Benefits Specialist working closely with the Benefits Manager to deliver an excellent employee experience. This position provides proactive and timely HR support and guidance focusing on benefits, company policy, and procedure. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and efficient while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Support ongoing administration and annual renewal of health, dental, vision, life/AD&D, and disability insurance plans.Regularly interface with vendors and benefits brokers to resolve employee questions and claims. Develops and maintains custom reports, including supporting vendor file feeds.Reconciles monthly benefit invoices.Supports the administration of FMLA and leave programs with our vendor.Identifies and diagnoses issues proactively and develops, recommends, and implements root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience promptly.Conduct periodic audits of benefits data in the HRIS system for efficient operations of the benefits system.Required Skills:Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of benefits and 401(k) retirement plans administration.Experience working with benefit programs of various types.Possess a strong understanding of benefits and 401(k) retirement regulations such as COBRA, HIPPA, and ERISA. An understanding of Wage and Hour regulations is a plus. Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to complete all inquiries promptly.Ability to organize and prioritize large volumes of information, emails, and calls.Analytical acumen includes strong Excel skills and experience with HR SystemsProficient with MS Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
