Don't miss this fresh, exciting and rewarding career opportunity as a Hotel General Manager in Baltimore, MD.Title of Position: Hotel General ManagerJob Description: The Hotel General Manager will perform administrative duties including critically reviewing and analyzing financial reports, making judgments and implementing changes to maximize profits, and supervising the development of and revision to business plans and annual budgets. The Hotel GM will provide a weekly summary of business and weekly forecast to ensure appropriate actions are taken to maintain proper flow through and oversee revenue management of the property in order to maximize sales and profit. The Hotel General Manager will interview, hire, and train staff with the focus being on ensuring that guest satisfaction is the priority of the team members. The GM will supervise and counsel department managers and team members in the efficient operation of their respective departments. The General Manager will develop and delegate improvement plans for operation and review performance of management team. The Hotel General Manager will effectively communicate with guests, clients, managers, corporate office and local associations as well as participate in community affairs and maintain positive public image for the Company, the brand and the hotel. The Hotel General Manager must meet with potential and current clients to promote the hotel as well as physically tour and visually inspect each property on a daily basis. The Hotel General Manager must monitor cost control, property condition, cleanliness and quality of product and service throughout hotel. The General Manager will need to travel to attend corporate and brand meetings.
