The Systems Administrator is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting advanced server, networking, and cloud services issues. Primarily responsible for emergency issues affecting multiple users and/or multiple locations. Systems Administrators also work on proactive tasks; managing alerts and reports for Backups, Antivirus, Patching, password rotation management software, and other technologies. They will assist CTMs in the assessment of a clients need for new technology, while making recommendations as to what they should be moving forward with.[MS1]Additional Responsibilities: . Escalationso Critical system down issues where collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is necessary to come to a resolution.o Complex issues that have made their way through the Desktop Support team without resolution.o Documents details of resolution and communicated those details to Helion team and clients.. Collaborates with Tier III support team to resolve escalated issues.. Directly responsible for managing and resolving all Executive and Owner level escalations.. Coordinates with outside vendors to resolve high level escalations from the Service Desk.o ISP's, DMS', Hardware/Software vendorsTechnical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Sever 2003-2019 Operating Systems. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and decommission. Manage and maintain settings. Configure, test, and deploy Group Policy. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory domains in a multi-server domain/forest. Install, migrate, and programmatically deploy printers. File Managemento Configure, test, and deploy Folder Redirectiono Configure, test, and deploy DFS for shared file storageo Configure, test, and deploy OneDrive personal file redirection. DHCP management and failover setup and configuration. DNS management. 3rd party application management including installing, configuring, and troubleshootingCisco Networking. Firewall access rule configuration and port forwarding. Bandwidth monitoring. ISP or WAN connection issuesEmail. Microsoft Exchange 2007-2016 installation, configuration, and support. Office 365 migration, configuration and support. Barracuda spam filter configuration, maintenance, and support. External DNS record configuration: SPF, DKIM, DMARCVirtual Infrastructure. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Hyper V hosts and virtual servers in a VMware environment. Install, configure, and troubleshoot VM hosts and virtual servers in a Hyper V environment. Azure Active Directory Connect/Active Directory File Server experience in an enterprise environment. Writes Windows Power Shell scripts for automation or maintenance. Provides technical expertise on O365 services:. Teams, Azure, Multi-factor Authentication and Single Sign OnScripting/Programming.
