The Diesel Field Service Technician role is critical to the success of WMS. The Diesel Field Service Technician will embody and represent the company motto of "going the extra mile starts here" by the way that he/she performs preventative maintenance and repairs on company equipment. The Diesel Field Service Technician will regularly be required to repair and maintain diesel driven pumps in the shop and on jobsites. The Diesel Field Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining company equipment to minimize or eliminate downtime and failures. Our goal is to always provide the best possible experience for every customer of WMS.The primary responsibilities of the Diesel Field Service Technician are:. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company owned equipment - primarily diesel driven centrifugal pumps. Occasionally perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on company owned trucks, trailers, and construction equipment. Maintain activity log of tasks and deliveries/installations. Assist in pump/pipe installation, delivery, and pickup. Drive truck and trailer - CDL not required. Build and maintain positive relationships with all WMS personnel. Respond to system and equipment malfunctions as needed, including after hours and weekends. Inspect pump parts inventory regularly and report to management on re-order items needed.
