You will help a growing startup create the policies, L&D strategies, and onboarding plans that will develop and retain our best employees for years to come. You'll serve as a liaison to all of our onsite and remote employees. Some of the tasks you'll perform include:Employee relations - field employee questions and concerns, consult leaders and functional HR experts as neededHiring/Onboarding - maintain and improve onboarding process, deliver light training during employee onboardPolicy - research and edit company policies (travel, expenses, stipends, etc.) under the guidance of company leaders. Interpret policies for staff as needed.Employee Engagement - manage birthday/work anniversary gifts, organize company-wide events (lunches, social outings) with administrative supportLearning Coordination - oversee SMEs for internal trainings for professional development, as well as compliance trainings (sexual harassment, etc.)HR Initiatives - support and lead internal initiatives like diversity, equity and inclusionSystems - provide basic support/guidance to employees on HR systems (ATS, Learning Modules, Payroll, etc)Employee Data - process and ensure accuracy of employee data and personnel filesExit Steward - manage the employee exit process, Conduct exit interviews to assess and gain feedback: analyze turnover to detect trendsAlmost anything else within reason -- we're a startup!What You'll BringMinimum of 3 years of related HR experience, including Employee RelationsAbility to build and develop relationships, collaborate, and build trust easilyEmployee law acumen/Human Resources proficiency.
