We look forward to meeting you!Dental Administrative/Receptionist Responsibilities:Answering the phones promptly and effectively with great phone etiquetteGreeting and welcoming patients to the practice.Scheduling, rescheduling, or helping with appointments as needed.Preparing daily schedules for the dental staff.Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing reminders.Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine eligibility and coverageVerifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.Performing general office duties photocopying, filing and faxing.Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiriesResolve patient issues in accordance with company policies and proceduresPresent treatment plans to patientsOrganize and present financial orthodontic arrangements to patientsSubmit and oversee the processing of dental claimsManage specialist referralsDental Administrative/Receptionist Requirements:Proficient in Dentrix or other dental software is a plusHigh school diploma or GEDCertification in office administration, medical administration, or related field is advantageous.Proven experience working in a dental office.Sound knowledge of dental terminology.Working knowledge of general administrative practices.Good telephone etiquette.Exceptional organizational skills.Excellent customer service skillsJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountPaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Please visit our website to see how we are keeping our staff and patients safe during this Covid-19 time.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
