We do state of the art work and have a cadre of outstanding professionals on our team.The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs.IWSG staff support a variety of tasks including support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; performing radar performance analysis; managing program needs and external requirements; and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time. This full-range of support services allows our customers to successfully award, execute, and manage new and existing contracts in a timely manner, enabling the development and delivery of highly capable and reliable systems to the Fleet on time and within budget. CJ #IN123Responsibilities:SPA is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead engineering efforts for the Soft Kill Coordination Subsystem (SKCS) within the US Navy Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0). You will directly support the SKCS Assistant Program Manager.As Lead Systems Engineer, you will be expected to provide technical and programmatic leadership to systems engineering working groups including Hardware, Software, Platform Integration, Combat System Integration, and Interface Control. You will be expected to have a firm understanding of design goals and interpretation of Navy regulations and serve as the subject matter expert for SKCS system design related issues and system integration.A hybrid work environment is allowed, but you must have the ability to regularly work on-site in DC. Regular travel (~5-10%) may be required in this position.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degreeAt least 5 years of relevant experienceDoD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain itDesiredMaster's of Science degree in an Engineering disciplineAt least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, development, integration and testing of Naval electronic warfare systems such as SLQ-32(V)6/7 and Advanced Off-board Electronic Warfare (AOEW)At least 5 years of experience integrating with the Navy's Product Line Architecture
