Liberty Group LLC is a commercial general contractor that builds healthcare/medical offices in DMV area, with our main office located in Rockville MD. The majority of our projects are interior fit out medical offices for dentists and doctors in the DC and Northern VA area, and we are in need of a full-time superintendent for our upcoming office projects starting in 2022.We are looking for driven individuals who have past superintendent experience, but more importantly are eager to learn more in a role that puts you in fast-moving projects (less than 100 days) with very high-end finishes needing quality control and close attention to the details in the design drawings. Each project is assigned one office PM to work alongside the superintendent, therefore this job comes with a lot of responsibility as the sole leader of pushing work forward every day. Accountability and communication skills are a must for anyone considering this position. We are a new, growing company with less than 20 employees, and we are excited to onboard new members to our team who are excited to grow with us as we expand our reputation as the number one builder of dental and medical offices across the DMV region.The role involves handling one to two projects at a time (depending on proximity), and candidates considering this position must have his/her own transportation to get to the job. This is a permanent W2 employee position with eligibility for healthcare benefits and PTO.Responsibilities and Duties.Manage work on site daily as an on-site supervisor, ensuring that building rules & regulations and safety protocol are all being followed anytime work is happening.Schedule, Coordinate and Supervise all required inspections between the county/city inspectors, subcontractors and building management.Coordinate work between subcontractors, and communicate schedule and any open issues on the job site daily with Liberty Project ManagersWalk through site meetings between designers, subs and the owner.Maintain quality control in all aspects of construction, ensure all details on the construction and interior design drawings are being followed. Alert Project Manager of any unknowns on site that require an RFI.Confirm correct layout and measurements to conduct wall-layout walkthrough's with the owner.Review daily reports of all field crewControl all punchlist items effectively to resolve in a timely manner and get Owner sign off to turn over the jobMaintain clean and safe working environmentSecure site dailyRequirements3+ Years of Experience in Commercial/Medical Interiors.Basic level of proficiency with email, Microsoft Excel (for scheduling) and Procore (updating drawings and tracking punchlist)Proficient level of ability to read construction drawings and specification to ensure that the job is being built per the approved plans.
