Solutions include: Design, engineering, installation and support services of network infrastructure (fiber/copper cabling), audio visual systems, electronic security, network route/switch engineering, WiFi, Public Safety and Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems and professional/managed services.RESPONSIBILITIES* Design in building-cellular and Public safety systems utilizing predictive design tools such iBwave, PCTel, Wind Catcher and other benchmarking tools based on customer and wireless service provider requirements.* Evaluate RF audit data to determine design and macro network impact.* Provide engineered solutions, pricing and proposal support to account teams and project managers by translating designs into bills of materials, labor estimates, and scopes of work.* Assist field engineers with optimization recommendations, troubleshooting and engineering support* Perform ongoing system testing, test analysis, troubleshooting, test reports and recommendation for changes and upgrades.* Provide Post implementation DAS maintenance and support.* Assist Engineering team with OEM and Wireless Service Provider innovation and solution trends.DIMENSIONS* Highly organized, self-motivated and effective with personal time management.* Understands critical importance of customer service.* Team player with ability to develop effective working relationships with others as needed for high performance in the position as a key contributing member.* Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a part of a cross-functional team that includes sales, engineering, project managers, operations, and admin support.* Proactive and professional communication with internal and external customers. Can effectively present and interact with senior executives as needed.* Ability to manage expectations of internal and external customers and keep them informed.Qualifications: * BSEE or technical degree (preferred but not required).* 5-7 years of RF engineering experience* 3+ years' experience with iBwave software (certification is a plus).* Expert knowledge and understanding of 2G,3G,4G, 5G and associated wireless technologies* DAS OEM certifications preferred such as Corning, CommScope, SOLiD, ADRF, and/or JMA/TEKO* Experience with Link Budgets for multiple technologies/frequencies, calculating noise levels, and calculating intermodulation products.* Demonstrated knowledge of Public Safety / 2 Way radio communications and requirements* Knowledge of radio wave propagation fundamentals, antenna theory, and optical transmission.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including advanced technical writing skills* Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity tools
