This position supports the NIH. The position is fully remote, but requires candidates to go to occasional on site meetings at the NIH in Bethesda, MD.As a .Net Developer, you create applications by working directly with the operations employees and learning their processes. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software development: gathering business requirements, developing the application, writing unit tests, and coordinating testing and deployment.We currently have an opening for a Full Stack .NET Developer. In this role, you'll be expected to: Develop and maintain high performing, user-friendly applications and modulesWork in all layers of the technology stack (UI, services, domain and business logic, data access) and cross-cutting concernsActively participate in code reviews, feature refinements, software design, and other team activitiesConsistently advocate for the clientCommit code better than you found itRequired skills: 3+ years of professional software development experience (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar preferred)Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and .NET FrameworkHands-on experience with JS frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue (Vue preferred)Experience writing and tuning SQL queriesFamiliarity with design patterns, best practices, and code smellsStrong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, Sass/Less/etc., JavaScriptSolid unit/integration testing habitsJob Type: Full-timePay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
