The Information Technology staff report to this position. This position is vital to the efficient and economical daily operation of the entity and provides information technology oversite to the core laboratory and hospital pathology labs. The Information Technology Manager performs the principle duties and responsibilities of this position in an efficient and superior manner, that may include the following:As the IT Systems Administrator, CCPL, you will:* Applies system-administrator-level knowledge of the Sunquest CoPath v6.x laboratory computer system to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of laboratory results* Understanding, creating and maintaining dictionary entries for laboratory workflows; ensuring routine maintenance; customizing Infomaker reports * Administers and maintains Copath interfaces between CCPLab clients utilizing Sunquest Application Manager and eTransX HEMI interface engines. This includes limited use of Cerner Millennium, Epic Portfolio and Sunquest Lab interfaced client applications as needed* Supports local and remote CCPLab pathologists and staff by troubleshooting and resolving Copath and supporting-application and device issues (eg, error conditions, printers, microphones, vendor technical support), and staff training.Education & Experience* Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology or Computer Science related field* 3-5 years' IT Systems and management in healthcare or lab related environmentAt Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
