The Project Estimator is responsible for performing full, onsite inspections, documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of reconstruction of the entire project through the use of Xactimate; negotiating reconstruction costs with insurance carrier representatives; communicating with the Project Manager issues that will affect the project schedule and/or budget. Must be professional, friendly, customer service focused and feel quality is important. Attitude and personality are important in this position as well as the ability to sell to the customer.
