Job Description:Merrill Platform Experience Team (PET) Investment Consultants help new clients and prospective clients with beginning a new Merrill account relationships and review the full breadth and value of the Merrill platform. Consultants are responsible for welcoming new clients to Merrill Edge via outbound calls, educating them on the capabilities of the platform and deepening the relationship with additional products and services via holistic goal based conversations. Investment Consultants demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets by applying key principles appropriately to the individual client's investment needs. Additionally, they align Merrill Lynch and Bank of America products and services where appropriate. Ultimately, consultants are in a position to make a new client's first experience with Merrill Edge a memorable one that will lead to additional business in the future. Investment Consultants demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets and apply key principles appropriately to the individual client's investment needs. Additionally, they align Merrill Lynch and Bank of America products and services where appropriate. Licensing requirements are as follows: Series 7, 66 or their equivalent. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.
